Logtura plugin privacy notice

This notice applies specifically to the Logtura plugin and agent skill distributed for ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude Code. Updated October 7, 2026.

No MCP server or Logtura data collection

The plugin is a package of instructions and reference files. It contains no MCP server, remote API connection, hosted backend, analytics, telemetry, tracking code, advertising code, or credential store.

Installing or using the plugin sends no data to Logtura. Logtura does not receive or collect personal data, prompts, project files, command output, logs, credentials, usage events, device identifiers, IP addresses, or account identifiers through the plugin. Because the plugin collects no data, there are no plugin data-use purposes, recipients, or retention periods.

Your agent, CLI, and selected providers

Your coding agent may read project files and run commands only through the permissions and policies of the agent provider you use. The open-source Logtura CLI runs in your environment. When you ask it to discover resources, deploy a forwarder, or deliver logs, it connects directly to the hosting providers and destinations you select.

Standalone use does not require a Logtura account and does not send configuration or logs to logtura.com. If you explicitly choose a website-linked deployment, the general Logtura privacy policy describes the separate hosted service and the operational data needed for that service.

Your controls

You can remove the plugin from your agent, delete local Logtura files, restrict agent permissions, revoke provider credentials, or stop a forwarder at any time. Removing the plugin does not delete data already sent to a hosting provider or destination you selected.
